There are a total of 8 Memory Stones you can find in Elden Ring. Each Memory Stone you acquire will increase your memory slots by one, meaning you can have more spells memorized at once. You start the game with 2 Memory Slots, and you can get it to 10 with this guide. Some spells require using more than one Memory Slot in order to equip it, for example, Azure’s Comet requires 3 Memory Slots to equip it.
Most of the Memory Stones come from the “Rise” towers, These towers usually have a puzzle you need to solve to enter them, or you’ll need to find three wise beasts around the Rise Tower to gain access. This guide will show you how to unlock those Towers and where to find the three wise beasts at the ones that have them None of the Memory Stones are missable and most can be collected early in the game.
Once you collect a Memory Stone, you don’t need to bring it anywhere or do anything with it, the effect will automatically be applied.
